Because reserving a professional driver requires dedicated scheduling, route coordination, and travel allocation, we enforce a transparent, balanced Cancellation and Refund Policy. This policy establishes clear boundaries to protect the schedules and resources of both luxury vehicle owners and our certified car drivers.
2. Cancellation Tiers and Grace Windows
Cancellation rules are divided into distinct packages based on booking categories and match latency:

Local Hourly/Daily Bookings (Grace Window):
Owners enjoy a **20-minute Free Cancellation Grace Window** commencing from the exact timestamp a car driver is matched to their booking.
- If cancelled within this 20-minute window, no fees apply, and a full refund of any pre-authorized transaction is initiated.
- Cancellations requested after the 20-minute grace window, but prior to driver arrival at the pickup point, incur a flat **₹150 Cancellation Penalty** to compensate the matched driver's travel dispatch.
- Cancellations requested after the driver has successfully arrived at the pickup coordinate carry a penalty equivalent to the **4-Hour Local Base Plan (₹500) plus the 10% Platform Fee and GST**.

Outstation Interstate Packages:
Because outstation driving requires dedicated highway scheduling, booking cancellation parameters are strictly enforced:
- Cancellations requested prior to 4 hours of the scheduled pickup schedule: Flat **₹250 cancellation charge**.
- Cancellations requested within 4 hours of scheduled dispatch, or once the driver is in transit to the pickup location: Flat **₹500 cancellation fee** (deducted from any booking deposit).
- No-shows or cancellations at the pickup point: The Owner is liable for the full **1-Day Outstation Base Fare (₹2,000) plus platform fees and GST**.
3. Payment Gateways and Refund Reflection Timelines
All financial transactions are processed securely through certified, high-grade premium payment gateways. In cases of validated refunds:
- Original Payment Method: All refunds are programmatically credited directly back to the original funding source instrument (Credit/Debit Card, UPI, NetBanking, or Wallet). We do not provide cash refunds.
- Processing Timeline: While FindMeDrivers processes approved refund transactions within 24 hours of cancellation validation, the final credit reflection timeline is governed by the issuing banking gateways and card networks. Approved funds typically reflect in your account within **5 to 7 business days**.
4. Strict Platform Bypass & Offline Settlement Penalties
To preserve transactional transparency and uphold the safety parameters of our FindMeDrivers Shield protection, every booking must occur through our technology portal. Any attempts by an Owner or Driver to coordinate offline cash settlements or bypass platform fees are subject to severe penalties:
- Immediate Permanent Termination: Direct offline driver bookings bypass the telemetry safety checks, resulting in the immediate permanent blacklist of both the Owner's and Driver's accounts from our ecosystem.
- FindMeDrivers Shield Exemption: Any offline transacted trips are strictly excluded from the FindMeDrivers Shield damage protection program. The platform holds zero liability for vehicles driven during offline transacted bypass.
- Legal & Administrative Penalties: 0209AI reserves the right to recover standard matching platform fees, administrative costs, and liquidated damages through legal mechanisms under Murtizapur/Akola jurisdiction.
5. Customer Dispute and Escalation Mechanisms
Should you experience billing discrepancies, driver arrival delays exceeding reasonable margins, or service deviations, you are encouraged to raise an escalation through our concierge desk:
- Dispute Submission Window: All fare disputes must be raised within **24 hours of trip completion** via email to support@findmedrivers.com or through the in-app support center.
- Documentation: Please include verified booking IDs, odometer reading discrepancies, or driver communication logs to facilitate rapid verification by our investigations team.
6. Emergency, Dynamic Weather, and Force Majeure Exceptions
We recognize that highway travel can be impacted by unpredictable real-world challenges. FindMeDrivers grants flexible refund or fee-exemption waivers under the following critical parameters:
- Severe Dynamic Weather & Natural Disasters: Validated monsoon highway flooding, severe landslides, earthquakes, or heavy weather events preventing safe vehicle transit on the scheduled route.
- State Border Restrictions & Force Majeure: Sudden state boundary blockades, curfew orders, strikes, or regional government lockdowns preventing transit passage.
- Sudden Vehicle Mechanical Breakdown: In cases where the Owner's vehicle experiences complete mechanical, engine, or transmission failure prior to transit commencement, cancellation penalties are fully waived.
- Driver Emergency Delays: If the matched driver experiences a verified medical emergency or transit delay exceeding **45 minutes** from the scheduled arrival hour, the Owner may cancel the booking with zero charges and receive a 100% refund.
